The Barcelona Open tennis tournament is held annually and it does attract a number of top players although sometimes not all of them because the Barcelona Open conflicts with some other tour tournaments.
Tickets for the Barcelona Tennis Open can usually be bought from around February of the

There are a number of tennis clubs and courts in and around Barcelona thus tennis in Barcelona is certainly possible. You might want though to avoid the months of July and August if you are going to play tennis because the months are very hot and humid. If you do plan to play in the summer months then playing in the early morning or late evening is advisable.
Many of the top players tend to play in the Barcelona Open, with many Grand Slam winners having played in this ATP (Association of Tennis Professionals) tournament and with prize money of over Eurso1.5 million, it is a major tournament in its own right.
