The Poble Nou area (barrios) often said that Poble Nou, the furthest east section of Barcelona, is positioned to become the new hub of Barcelona. And with constant construction and new housing developments and business cropping up daily, it certainly appears to be true. During the day, La Rambla de Poble Nou is a nice place for a stroll and is lined with cafés, shops, and the Torre Agbar.
Poble Nou has a number of apartment rentals and hotels and is a good area for both living or for basing yourself as a tourist or holiday maker. Parc de la Cuitadella and Avinguda Diagonal both border this area.
