Nestled between Poble Nou and Barrio Gotico, El Borne is a trendy and upscale neighborhood. A great place to wander, El Borne has plenty of sophisticated boutiques, restaurants, museums, and bars. The main attractions of El Borne include the Museu Picasso, the Parc de la Ciutadella, the Mercado de Santa Catarina, and the Santa María del Mar, a beautiful Gothic church.
El Borne is a popular barrios (area) in Barcelona and is one of the more cultural areas of the city. This is a classy area and is still very central for getting around to the local attractions.
